"The Possum Motorcycle Gathering" is East Tennessee's response to expensive and invitation only concours shows. Not pricey and snooty, we're free and friendly. All motorcycles from 1990 back are invited. There's no charge to display your bike or have it judged in one of six classes. Exhibitors and spectators are invited to come and go at their leisure.
Location: The Sevier County fairgrounds in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Dates: Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4, 2020. Camping and exhibitors will be allowed as early as the previous Monday. Judging will be on Saturday with winners announced at 2 p.m.
Camping: Again, no fees, with toilets and showers available on site. This is strictly first come, first served with riverfront campsites filling up early. Food vendors will be on site on Friday and Saturday.
If you've never visited this area, Sevierville is in the heart of the Smokey Mountains. Great riding abounds, including the Tail of the Dragon, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohola Skyway, and innumerable more 'bucket list' destinations less than an hour away. Other area interests include Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, plus many, many other attractions in this vacation paradise.
The show is held in conjunction with the Sevier County Antique Tractor and Engine Club. In addition to vintage motorcycles, there will be over 100 antique tractors, hit and miss engines, and a related swap meet.
This is an event everyone in the family can enjoy. Donations are encouraged with all profits going to our area Hospice.
